Happy Monday!! This is the first Monday back since the Sales Convention in San Antonio, Texas with the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Family and wow was it amazing! Such a great event! I'm going to start this call today with 7 points I learned from the event that I feel will be the best to help you create your best year ever! These 7 points was a great inspirational piece for me and I feel compelled to share them with you in hopes of inspiring you in bettering yourself & your business to accomplish your goals and create positive change and habits for 2018!

Dan is the one you will see teaching the classes up in the Success Center in our St. Rose office at 9:00am everyday but Tuesday’s!Dan took over the call this morning about the benefits of showcasing your worth.A lot of successful mentors in this industry always say one thing in common when it comes to being achieving your goals, raise your prices.You should always charge more money & never be the lowest cost option for your premium service.In this business, it’s better to be a Rolls Royce than a Honda Civic.The only way to run a good, long term, successful business, is to know your worth and charge based on the high quality service you know you can provide.No matter what commission you may charge, in general, it is always going to be to much to most clients.With that being said, why would you downgrade your worth, time, & services when you know you can deliver the best.It only makes sense that the commission you charge matches and you don’t sell yourself short.The easiest most profitable way to be successful in this industry is to take those chances and stay confident in the type of business you will provide.

Last week we had the pleasure of sitting down and interviewing with Executive Vice President and General Manager, Joe Capriotti. When talking with Joe, he was able to share his experiences in the industry and shine some light on the beauty of working for this company, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. After speaking with him, I wanted to base this coaching podcast on highlighting Joe's points from the interview. There are so many tools and services that we offer here to assist all of our agents with acheiving their business goals and setting them up for success. We are a business service company, as Mark would always say. Everybody in this company is in the business to help our clients and more importantly, help each other. Berkshire Hathaway has a great blueprint on creating your own business and being succesful in it! Joe touches so much on this and I took the liberty of elaborating a little more on his inspiring insight!

We have a special podcast on this holiday! My interview with the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Nevada Properties, Joe Capriotti! In my interview today, we get to know a little more of how Mr. Capriotti started in this industry. Joe started in the Real Estate Industry at the young age of 21 years old in Southern California and has grown ever since. Joe goes on to explain the beauty of being a part of Berkshire Hathaway especially under such great leaders like Warren Buffet & Mark Stark and their vision to not only grow the company, but to grow the agents themselves! Joe has some great insight on starting out in this company and growing past your highest goals and making every year your best year yet!!

We're half way through the first quarter! It's time to let yourself shine! Superstar agents start with the end in mind. It's time to really start focusing on your 'why' and making your thoughts something that fuels your superstar outcome! If you want to continue the rest of this year in a good flow, you have to get your mind there first. Here in this podcast, are a few Superstar thoughts that should assist you with staying on track for yourself and your business. Write these thoughts down, repeat them, take action to support them, do what you need to do to make it a habit so your mind is trained to have that superstar agent attitude! Get clear on your 'why' and your 'what' it takes to get there. This will fuel your purpose to match these thoughts and mold you into that Superstar Agent image you have for yourself. When you practice, drill, and rehearse the 'why', the 'what' becomes second nature. Sooner or later, all of it will become a habit and will unfold into your reality exactly how you visualized.

We're about 10% into the new year. How are you doing right now? Are you having a great year already? Have you noticed some areas that you can target more action to? If you are, then great! Keep it going. If not, then you need to get clear on what you can do to have the rest of the year go in your favor. What can you do to take more action? Taking action is the most important in this business, especially when you're taking action consistantly! For those who are doing well so far, they're probably utilizing my favorite saying, score in the big four! What is the big four? Prospecting, Lead follow up, Quality appointments, and negotiating deals. If you're not doing well so far, think about channeling your consistant action in these four areas. The good news about this? you still have 90% of the year left to turn this around, start taking that action now!

We're one third of the way through the first business quarter! Can you believe it?! This week we will be creeping into February already! I believe that the first quarter is the most important quarter of the year. Why? because it sets the stage and the tone for the rest of the year. With this in mind, and relating to my wonderful interview with CEO Mark Stark last week, I'm going to give you some things to think about on how to set the stage for success for your 2018! We have a special treat this morning, an inspiring interview with our Owner and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Mr. Mark Stark! Mark explains how he started off in this industry at just 21 years old, diving head first into a company he passionatly believed in early on. He came to start at such a young age and built what he as built today not by curising by, but by hard work, dedication, and action. Even with starting young, with just 7 years of selling in the business Mark had managed to push himself to be the top agent in the company! He was asked to manage multiple offices in the Las Vegas Area, one of which was the lowest earning office where he then pushed to be the highest earning office in just 3 years! We are half way through January! This time is crucial. If there is any course direction you need to do..now is the time. You don't want to be an "If Only" person. I hear people say, "Someday I'll ...." Someday won't get you anywhere. You need to take that action now! If you're convinced that 2018 is going to be your year, as you should be, than this is going to be your year! You need to start making it happen now. You're either still in alignment with your commitments or you're not. If you're not, then you need to get back into doing it right now. To make something a habit again it takes at least 30-60 days. There is so much that you can acheive in that time frame so you HAVE to get serious about your commitments and your passion to this business to be succesful. Show the world that you are a goal acheiveing person and that 2018 IS YOUR YEAR!

It's a New Year! What a great year we are going to have in Real Estate! You know my mantra...lean, mean, money making machine, in 2018! You know that no matter what market you are in, Arizona, California, or Nevada, the Real Estate Market is going up and up and it is going to help you have your best year yet! With this information, you still should be mindful that it is NOT the time to coast! You would never coast in a bicycle race going downhill. What do you do? You downgrade a few gears and you keep on peddaling! You dig deeper and you get yourself momentum to keep going. Think about this in your business and get yourself to stay consistant in your goals to truly have the best year ever!
