Monday Apr 01, 2019
Monday Apr 01, 2019
Today I had the pleasure of interviewing the one an only CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services of Arizona, California & Nevada, Mr. Mark Stark. Mark, originally from Chicago, came to Las Vegas to attend UNLV for Hotel Management. After working in the industry for the duration of his College Career, Mark Quickly realized his passion for real estate and has been in the business since 1985.
Mark goes on to talk about how he started and how he became successful without any previous real estate knowledge or a sphere to work with in his early years. He continues to explain how having the mindset of putting himself in front of new opportunities and being proactive within those, brought him to where he is today.
With that being said, Mark gives some great points to success from his personal experience as we move forward through the call. Some of the points he mentions as a new agent going into this business are as follows
1. Pushing himself to be vulnerable & door knock multiple homes a day just to create SOI.
2. Obtaining high quality questions from potential clients and asking for support from his brokerage in answering them knowledgeably.
3.Being proactive in Confidence building exercises such as practicing Net sheets & listing presentations.
4. To call a work day productive, Mark would Insert himself in a minimum of two new opportunities per day such as appointments with, a new seller or a new buyer.
5. Being proactive in all aspects of how he did business was his most important factor to breeding success.

Confrontation Motivation! 7 Points from Rick Berube!
Monday Mar 25, 2019
Monday Mar 25, 2019
Today is an in your face motivation session! We have 75% of the year ahead and it's really time to kick the motivation up a notch! You know, Success isn't for everybody because it is a choice. Is it something that you choose for yourself? I would hope so! With that, I have seven points to share with you today to motivate you into choosing success for you & your business!
1. Raise your Goals! - Stop settling! Don't ever say that you can't do something. You choose what you want to do and it's all about what you're willing to do! Don't cave out of your goal...either keep it or raise it! Ask yourself, what are you actually doing on a daily basis? Are you really doing what you're supposed to be doing to achieve your goals? The answer is if not, then do it! If you are, than kick it up a notch!
2. Treat your clients like Gold - That is what they are! Your job is to solve their problem. Think about it, that is how you get referrals! If you want to do well in this business, you can get so much mileage out of it just by treating people the right way!
3. Maximize today! - All we have is today. We cant live yesterday & we cant have tomorrow as today...but you can maximize today! In order to achieve your goal, you know what you need to do today to get there. So why not maximize it to your best ability to ensure you are meeting your goals?
4. Get Referrals! - If you are doing the above three steps, why cant you ask for great referrals? Oh that's right, you can!
5. Get excited about your job! - If you're not excited, how do you expect your clients to be excited? Get into a gratitude ritual to help you get excited about your job and the things you get to do in this job every single day!
6. Visualize - When you visualize your end result, it brings you closer to making them a reality. Do you absolutely believe your goal? Do you absolutely believe that you can achieve it? If you believe it, then the actions that you need to take to get there become second nature for you!
7. Repel negativity! - It is going to happen, its inevitable. However, you have the power to repel that negativity and keep your goals at the forefront of your mind because you absolutely believe that they are achievable! It's important to keep yourself and your mindset on the positive spectrum to keep your commitment levels high and to bring more positivity to you and your business!

My Top 3 Points from the BHHS National Sales Convention!
Monday Mar 18, 2019
Monday Mar 18, 2019
It's March 18th! This means we have two more weeks left until the end of the quarter! Now this news can only mean one of two things for most of you. You either feel excited, or slightly depressed by this information. It all boils down to where you are and what you're doing. Honestly, I will say that it's all about what you're doing because if you're focused on what you're doing, everything else will take care of itself. If you're focused too much on the results and not the actions along the way, then you will never get there! With that being said, this past week was the BHHS Sales Convention in Las Vegas and there were three big points I wanted to share that I thought we're impactful & useful for you to get excited about growing your business in the next quarter! Here are the three points:
1. Social Media - Video in social media is the most important part of this equation! You should be coming up with content to share what you know best which in turn will captivate others to want to work with you. It's about getting comfortable with being uncomfortable! Video is the most progressing part of social media, you have to at least try or wont ever get to reap the benefits from it! Social Media is there for FREE, so why not have a social media presence and crank it up to the best of your ability?
2. Company Tools - VAC, Resource Center, etc. I recommend that every single one of you attend the VAC classes and use the resource center as much as you possibly can. When you combine both social media & the company tools, you are instantly operating at a cutting edge level which in turn will boost your business bigger than you thought! Become familiar with them, they are there for you to use so why not?
3. Listing Presentation - Your confidence in doing a listing presentation is the most important aspect to me when it comes to this point. It doesn't matter what price point your listing is in, what matters is your level of confidence because people want to hire confident realtors! You already have a great name behind you, what you want to do now is expand upon the BHHS name! If you want to get more out of your presentations, then you need to practice, rehearse, and embody confidence while doing them!
