Today I have the pleasure of interviewing one of our BHHSAZ branch managers of the Camelback Office, Dawn Seagren! Dawn was first licensed in 1978 and was a full time realtor the moment she was licensed and hit the ground running with her business! Dawn was extremely focused and driven on her business and didn't commit to management until 2003.When Dawn first began, she was struggling at first as most first agents do. She knew that she needed a coach/mentor to help take het to the next level. Once she began the coaching, her business was taking off as she started to become more familiar with her numbers such as her desired annual income, average sales price, commission rate, how many hours she worked, her worth per hour, etc. Knowing her numbers absolutely changed the trajectory for Dawn as she was able to break down exactly what she needed to do every single day to make what she needed for her and her family to be comfortable for the year! Dawn continues to explain how obtaining a coach and tracking her numbers brought more and more success to her and her business, listen to hear more on how Dawn up leveled every year and made every year her best year just by knowing what she had to do to make it happen!

To Kick off 2019, I'm starting our Monday Podcast with an awesome interview with one of our top agents in CA out of our Rancho Office, Martha Cervantes! Martha is an active social media agent however, she wasn't always that way! When she first started in the business, she had no idea she would be bringing her more introverted side to the internet world until she was attending a conference with Tom Ferry and he said, "Video is going to be HUGE, you need to start making videos!". Although it wasn't something she initially wanted to do, she jumped right into it despite her thoughts & it has instantly changed the game for her! It not only has given her the confidence to be transparent about her business through video online but she has taken that transparency into her health & fitness online as well which in turn has brought authenticity to her following on social media! Being authentic, raw, and real is what people are looking for and what your clients can relate to more which would have them wanting to work with you even more! Let's start with 2018, you have all done things that went right and you have things that may have not gone so right. It happens to all of us, no need to beat yourself up over it or anything, it's simply fact & that's okay it's a lesson you needed to learn. Now, turn the page and we're on the cusp of beginning 2019. Today, I want to give you 10 words & I hope for you to rank yourself from 1 - 10 in each of these based on how you did in relation to that word in 2018. This will give you perspective on what you need to start writing your next chapter of 2019. So here we go!
1. Responsibility. - What level of responsibility do I need to have to be successful in this business?
2. Commitment. - What is my commitment level to my goal this year?
3. The Right Actions. - What are the actions I need to take every single day?
4. Focus. - What are you focusing on and are you focusing on the right things?
5. Process vs. Outcome. - What is my process to obtain the outcome I desire and does am I aligning myself with it for my goals?
6. Emotions. - Are you keeping your emotions in check? What do you decide to control on your emotions?
7. Mental Skills. - Are you doing the right things everyday to work on your mental skills and building them stronger everyday?
8. Practice. - What level of practice are you incorporating in your daily life to make your experiences in this business more effective and profitable?
9. Student. - How often do you see yourself as a student of life? Learning as much as you can to better yourself and your business?
10. Keep it Simple. - How well do you keep it simple and how much does that work for you?

Today is going to be a little different. With the holiday's coming up, we're skipping a couple calls and I thought to myself what is going to be a great podcast? I found that today, I'm going to change the history of my podcast! If you guys are familiar with the Pareto Principle that came up in the early 1900's then you will know what I'm talking about! The Pareto Principle in relation to us in this industry is basically the 80/20 rule which means, that 80 percent of the business is done by 20 percent of the people. Today! I'm going to make history by changing that rule from the 80/20 rule .... to the 90/10 rule! After doing some statistic checking, NAR states that only 10-12% of realtors get past their 18 month. So what does this all mean? You never want to focus on that 90%! You want to focus on being a part of that 10%! Keep listening to how you can be successful in this business and be a part of that 10%!

I want to talk about something that we all have, Limiting Beliefs! We all have them like I said so don't worry! However, there are those few who can change those limiting beliefs and create new ones that support success in all areas of your life! What you believe, is critical! If you have these negative beliefs, we all have them remember its normal, but you have to work EVERYDAY at changing them. It's using that habit replacement therapy, right? Acknowledge immediately when you have negative thoughts and that they're not true, then immediately change them into positive ones! Why would you ever have a story in your head that is not consistent with what you want to achieve? Think about that and how does that apply to your life right now? Your mind can be a terrible neighborhood sometimes, you shouldn't go there alone. Instead, bring along aspects that will support you as you walk through that negative neighborhood of your mind! Listen to your audiobooks, smile, meditate, create a plan, etc. What is it that you can do to help train your mind to change limiting beliefs?

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Now that we're done with one of the holidays, you officially have the end of the year approaching and I can't stress enough that now is the time to be involving yourself in everything you can to help you reach your goals for next year! We all have a goal for next year, it's the perfect time to start proving to yourself that you can make your goals for the rest of this year & for next year. Repeat this to yourself, "If my goal is important to me, than I need to be doing everything I need to be doing RIGHT NOW to get myself there NOW". We all know in Real Estate & any business for that matter, it's a 90 day cycle. You have to be working 90 days to cash in the next 90 days. You have to have that "Do whatever it takes" kind of mindset to achieve your goals & cash in what you expect to. In order to maximize your 2019 experience - I continue with a couple points to help you achieve your goals and surpass your own expectations going into 2019!

Amanda started selling Real Estate since 2001 and after 8 years, Amanda was a coach with the Mike Ferry Organization, where her and I met for many years as well! After reaching out to her with this opportunity with BHHS, Amanda has jumped on board with Berkshire Hathaway and has been invested in the company for the past 3 years! While working along side Amanda in the Mike Ferry Organization, there are a plethora of things we both learned from that experience and from coaching a significant amount of agents in that time. Amanda explains a couple key points that she has learned going into coaching after having experience selling first and then jumping into the role she is in now!
1. It's all about the mindset. Whatever your goals are, its about where your mindset is at to allow you to stay consistent with your business which in turn will bring success to you!
2. Know what your goal is for the year and what activities you're going to take part in to make that happen!
3. Take advantage of the support! Our BHHS Office's work hard to create a successful environment for our agents to thrive in. If you want the support, if you want the accountability, if you need the admin assistance - it's all there for you to take advantage of to help you achieve those goals!

We just came out of ROCKtober & we're nearing the end of the year! First, we are officially taking on November! How do you make this a November to Remember?!
1. Have a clear direction - Have a clear direction in every aspect of your life. In your business, have a clear direction with your numbers. What are they? What do you want them to be? Get clear!
2. Are you respected in your industry? - Do you know what is going on in your farm? Are you professional in the way you present yourself? How do your clients and the agents you work with perceive your business persona? You want to over deliver and under promise in every area!
3. Communication - How are you in this area? Your scripts! Don't ever forget about these, these should be your best friend. Learning how to be a good communicator is a main factor in this business! Ask open ended questions, have intense curiosity, get involved and be in the 'need to know'.
4. Product - What is our product in real estate? Homes! You're selling homes! To have buyers, you need an inventory of your homes to sell to these buyers. So for you, what is YOUR main product...your inventory meaning, your LISTINGS! You have a to have a good inventory if you plan on having good closing business!
5. Opportunity - Think about your opportunities in the role you chose to create money. If you take these last 4 points to heart, think of the opportunity that you will to be the most successful you can be!

Good Morning! This Morning, we had Sahara Branch Manager, Amanda Franchi taking over the Monday call and interviewing the branch's top sales executive, Mr. Billy O' Keefe! Billy has been in the industry now 20 years starting out as an individual agent, bringing his business to substantial success on his own! When Billy started, he developed his business by utilizing referrals and farming which was very good to him when starting his pipeline. As a new agent as the time, he found that picking one thing and becoming an expert at it before jumping into the next thing was the most efficient way for him to be successful!
